Christmas is time for having friends over to visit.
Drink and food are shared, but what do you do when a bottle of wine is spilled all over a new woollen carpet.
How do you treat a wine stain on wool carpet ?
Mrs Jackson went straight onto google, and after reading the reviews from paisley carpet cleaning, she called us straight away.
With wine staining it’s important not to rub the wine into the carpet fibres so we advised Mrs Jackson to blot the spillage lightly with a clean dry cotton towel. Blotting a wine stain allows as much of the excess wine to be absorbed by the cotton towel in a process known as wicking.
Once Mrs Jackson had blotted as much of the wine up as possible we advised not to do anything else. 99% of the time we can always remove 100% of a red wine stain so long as no other chemicals have been used.
Call Paisley Carpet Cleaning the next time you get a red wine stain on your carpet.
